ESL LA League closed qualifier match-ups determined
The draw for the closed qualifier for ESL LA League has been made, with the 16 competing teams having learned their opponent.
The draw has thrown up an exciting clash between Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe's Virtue, who recently added Caike "caike" Costa to their ranks, and the former Tempo Storm squad, now known as Dereguedere.
The two Chilean teams, Andes and AEON, have been handed tough draws as they will take on Sharks and Yeah, respectively, while WESG Finals participant Isurus will be locking horns with C4.
The winning sides of this round of best-of-three matches, which will run from Friday to Sunday, will earn spots in the main tournament, from which the top two teams will face off in the grand final, held on LAN on May 5. The winner of that match will seal passage to the ESL Pro League Finals, in Dallas, where the bulk of the season's $1 million prize pool will be on the line.
