Heroic to field es3tag at Copenhagen Games

Striker
March 29th, 2018 02:18

Heroic will be using Patrick "es3tag" Hansen instead of Jakob "JUGi" Hansen at the upcoming Copenhagen Games, HLTV.org has learned.

From March 30-31, Patrick "es3tag" Hansen will once again step in for Heroic at Copenhagen Games, as Jakob "JUGi" Hansen is still handling personal issues, which caused him to take a step back in early March.

Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer's team will learn their fate once the BYOC qualifier comes to a close, as they are one of the four teams directly invited to the main tournament, which will begin with two round-robin groups of four.

es3tag will once again step into JUGi's shoes

es3tag has been standing in for JUGi for the past three weeks in various online competitions, such as ECS Season 5 Europe Challenger Cup, ESL Pro League Season 7, and the DreamHack Masters Marseille closed qualifier.

In that time, Heroic have had mixed results. The Danish squad failed to qualify for ECS Season 5 and DreamHack Masters Marseille following losses to GODSENT and Valiance, respectively, and are currently sitting at 7th place in ESL Pro League with 19 points from 16 matches.

SK Jugi confirmed
2018-03-29 02:24
How can you just leave your job like he these pros always may do??? like everyone can just stand "personal issues" and stop working and doing their job and still get salary at the same time "personal issues" in CS:GO always result into roster changes so where is JUGI gonna go?
2018-03-29 02:25
dude he's a young man, properly goes to school. life's not all about csgo for these young players. they need to think about other stuff too.
2018-03-29 02:29

He could be in university or something like that, i know people aged 20 in Denmark who are still studying in school. Not like school from grade 1-9 but what comes after that.

What are u talking about? He signed a contract! Imagine you would just skip a day in your job
2018-03-29 10:08
I highly doubt he just went to the org and said "Hey guys, I've got personal issues, see you in 2 months, maybe". Everyone in charge probably knows exactly what those problems are and have apparently deemed them big enough to give him some time off. Additionally, you don't know how his contract looks like. You don't know how much money he gets when he's not playing
