kaze parts ways with Flash
Andrew "kaze" Khong's contract with Flash has expired, the player announced on Twitter today.
The Malaysian player was a part of Flash from the inception of the team, that came together at the start of 2017 with a lot of fanfare. Alongside the AWPer, Chinese stars YuLun "Summer" Cai and YuanZhang "Attacker" Sheng were set to spearhead Flash, but the team wasn't able to live up to the expectations, not even after a plethora of roster changes.
Even though Andrew "Kaze" Khong's departure wasn't official, Flash have been playing without him for a while, attending the StarLadder Invitational and earning a place at the ESL Pro League S7 APAC Finals LAN while using a full-Chinese lineup.
Only today has Kaze announced that he will not be extending his contract with Flash after it ran out, becoming a free agent, similarly to Benjamin "moxie" Kou, who played his last event for BOOT-d[S] this month.
Flash haven't formalized their new lineup, but have recently been seen playing with the following five:
I'm no longer part of the @OfficialFGesport lineup as my contract expires tomorrow. I won't be renewing the contract with them. Best of luck with the new lineup @Attackercsgo @fancyMokneyCSGO 💪. Had a great time while in the team!— Andrew Khong (@kaze_cs) March 30, 2018
