dignitas to sign roca & a2z; mCe out - Report
dignitas are set to sign Daniel "roca" Gustaferri and Armeen "a2z" Toussi, Dust2.us has reported.
Dignitas are set to revamp their roster with the departure of Jack "xCeeD" Holiman and now Matthew "mCe" Elmore, following a lackluster start to the ESL Pro League season, where the team currently sits at the bottom of the North American division with a 0-8 record.
Daniel "roca" Gustaferri and Armeen "a2z" Toussi have been placed on Dignitas' ESEA roster to meet the 48-hour deadline for their next ESL Pro League match on Wednesday against Cloud9. With the recent additions, mCe, who has been the in-game leader for Dignitas after being acquired from SoaR back in February, will be replaced.
roca has been without a team since his contract with Splyce expired last month. The 22-year-old helped Splyce reclaim a spot in ESL Pro League after winning ESEA S24 MDL and attended ROG Masters 2017, where they finished 5th-6th.
Joining roca will be former Torqued member a2z, who recently played in the Dust2.us Masters #2 for Dignitas, reaching the semifinals before falling 1-2 to Gorilla Gang. a2z is set to fill mCe's role as in-game leader, hoping to bring experience to the young talent on the active roster.
With the changes, Dignitas' roster looks as follows:
Logan "Voltage" Long
Michael "Grim" Wince
Mitch "mitch" Semago
Armeen "a2z" Toussi
Daniel "roca" Gustaferri
Josh "shinobi" Abastado (coach)
