x-kom bring back Patitek, bench stark
The Polish team x-kom underwent a player change, recalling the formerly benched Patryk "Patitek" Fabrowski in place of Krzysztof "stark" Lewandrowski.
The Poles, who are currently 54th in our ranking, made forward strides recently by winning their national qualifier for V4, defeating the likes of AGO on their way there.
x-kom had another notable national qualifier result last year, when they took a victory over Virtus.pro in the Polish WESG qualifier, but ended up disqualified due to Patryk "Patitek" Fabrowski's previous VAC ban.
Patitek was benched at the end of 2017, with the team bringing in Patryk "ponczek" Wites. However, Patitek has now found his way back into the squad, replacing Krzysztof "stark" Lewandrowski who will take his place on the bench. The team's manager, Max Kieturakis, explained that the change with the following statement:
"After returning from the tournaments in Budapest and Copenhagen, we sat down to talk as a team about what needs to happen so that the we take a step forward. We have decided that Patryk "Patitek" Fabrowski will return to the main lineup. Although this means that Krzysztof "stark" Lewandrowski is leaving for the bench, we are not saying goodbye to stark. He is a player who is characterized by an amazing talent and we look forward to the moment when he will once again be in our first team. "
The statement didn't address why they decided to specifically bench stark, and the future of the 19-year-old remains unclear at this point.
As of now, x-kom have the following roster:
