Isurus will not travel to China for the WCA 2017 Finals

Isurus have announced they have pulled out of the Chinese tournament to focus on regional competition.

The Argentinean team, which qualified to WCA last year, have announced they will miss the finals for the tournament later this month. The tournament, which was supposed to be played late last year, was rescheduled due to many events overlapping in December, when the tournament was initially set to take place.

Isurus were in China competing at the WESG 2017 World Finals last month

After several teams, among them Gambit and Heroic, pulled out due to conflicting schedules, Isurus has now confirmed in a statement on their website that their CS:GO team will not be competing at the WCA finals. Instead, Nicolás "⁠Noktse⁠" Dávila & co. will focus on the Brazil Premier League, the ESL Belo Horizonte qualifier, and the ESL LA League.

With Isurus pulling out, the team roster for the event is currently:

I think most of those teams really *miss* this tournament because they believe they won't be paid. At least it's what it looks like. Would be cool to know if envyus ever got paid during the previous iteration. That would explain a lot why some teams fell flat on their faces during the qualifier as well...some counterperformances with such a pool were highly dubious to say the least, shaddy.
