B.O.O.T-d[S] through to ESL Pro League Season 7 APAC Finals

B.O.O.T-d[S] have booked their spot at the ESL Pro League Season 7 Asia-Pacific Finals with a 2-0 victory over Recca in the Southeast Asia closed qualifier.

The series kicked off on Recca's map pick, Mirage, with BOOT-d[S] securing a quick 2-0 lead as CTs. The Indonesian squad responded with two of their own to level up the score, but Alikhan "w1nt3r" Kopzhanov's new team would remain in the driving seat to switch sides with a 9-6 lead.

Albert "FrostMisty" Giovanni and co. came from the break set to equalize things off, but they could not follow up their successful CT pistol. In fact, the Singaporean team lost only one more round before closing out the map, 16-8.

Tommy led the way for his team in terms of kills (47)

Recca's map pick, Nuke, began with Baskoro "roseau" Dwi Putra's men winning their CT pistol and the subsequent anti-ecos. Just like on the previous map, however, the Indonesians could not secure more than six rounds until half-time.

The game then followed the same pattern as Mirage, as Recca picked up the second pistol but could not prevail in the following round, opening up a way for BOOT-d[S] to grab a 12-7 lead.

BOOT-d[S] still saw Recca reduce the deficit to a minimum, but then Anthony "ImpressioN" Lim and his teammates tightened up their defence to wrap things up, 16-12, and book their place at the Asia-Pacific finals.

Since BnTeT and xccurate left, they don't play consistently. Lose to newcomers and nonamers. We currenly don't have enough talent to compete internationally,
