Grayhound remove BURNRUOk; chuch departs Tainted Minds

Two of Australia's top teams have undergone changes today with the removal of Callum "BURNRUOk" Henderson and Connor "chuch" Morgan from Grayhound and Tainted Minds' active lineups respectively.

Following the conclusion of the ESL Pro League Season 7 Oceania Closed Qualifier yesterday, the infamous roster shuffle has unexpectedly taken place in the region down under.

Despite both teams qualifying for the Asia-Pacific event in Sydney, held later this month on April 20-22, along with IEM Sydney 2018 Oceania closed qualifier coming up, it is an odd timing for Grayhound and Tainted Minds to remove their longest serving members Callum "BURNRUOk" Henderson and Connor "chuch" Morgan respectively, during the region's busiest moments.

BURNRUOk receives the end of the stick on Grayhound

With both teams looking for a permanent fifth member, this will likely mean that no Oceanic teams are safe from the chain reaction that is set to occur including the likes of Chiefs and ORDER.

Grayhound gave the following statement on Twitlonger:

"Today we announce the removal of Callum "bURNRUOk" Henderson from our roster.

It has been an exceptionally long and distinguished storyline which truly speaks for itself - from Team Immunity with erkaSt and Gratisfaction all the way through the years to Grayhound with Dickstacy and dexter.

There have only ever been great times in this team and stories which will forever be locked in the "what happens in Hainan, stays in Hainan" vault.

Best of luck to you Cal, we know we'll be seeing you in the future!"

Followed by Tainted Minds' Facebook announcement below:

"Today we part ways with Connor "chuch" Morgan from the Tainted CS:GO playing lineup. Chuch was part of the initial Tainted CS:GO team that we acquired from Athletico in December 2016 and has played in nearly every single official match since that day.

Playing in a multitude of different roles but primarily as an entry, chuch provided a great level of versatility to the team and was part of the teams rise to top 3 throughout 2017-2018.

Due to outside of game commitments, chuch has stepped down from the roster and will be having some time off to enjoy life and achieve goals outside of Counter-Strike.

Thank you for your time with us Connor, you have been an awesome team member and above all a great mate to us all here at Tainted Minds."

Grayhound's lineup is now down to four members:

Australia Christopher "dexter" Nong
Australia Ollie "DickStacy" Tierney
New Zealand Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai
Mongolia Erdenetsogt "erkaSt" Gantulga

Tainted Minds' roster currently consists of:

Australia Yaman "yam" Ergenekon
Australia Joshua "INS" Potter
New Zealand Ryan "zewsy" Palmer
New Zealand Chris "ofnu" Hanley

Australia Fergus "ferg" Stephenson (coach)

I dont know about 2018 yet but in 2016-2017 he was almost top 2 But u know zeus or karrigan almost 5th fragger plus msl and many more igls.

Well that's what I was originally saying. erkast used to be the star player for all the teams he was in but he has slowed down a lot recently, probably because he is igl at a much higher level now so he has to focus on that and can't frag as well. Even so he is still fragging very well, but dexter and grati are doing way better atm

Don't expect it to be a 1 for 1 trade, Who are current free agents? Or players on worse teams upgrading? Malta upgrade to Grayhound? Dizzy to TM? Just please don't let Pecks be involved in this shuffle ...

Dizzy is very overrated in AU. He hasn't played at a high level in Australia in a very long time, yes he was skilled back in the day, was going to be the 5th for Vox. But I don't see Dizzy going to either TM or Grayhound, there are much better options in our region.

Underrated* He was probably overrated back when he was a stand in for Vox but now he is the most underrated playing from AU from an outsiders perspective, hltv.org/matches/2317911/legacy-vs-athle.. If he is pulling shit like this consistently and still losing he isn't overrated

AU cs has gotten bigger and bigger but the peak of an AU team other than VOX was in 2015 with Immunity when they beat C9, Liquid etc. I don't understand how the scene is getting bigger with more tournaments and opportunities but the teams are worse. iM beat Liquid, C9, Roccat and took a map off Dignitas, sound like nothing yes but I'd honestly say no AU team has done something that significant since.
2018-04-11 14:45
It's the same shit players that keep getting rotated around. Its why AUS never gets anywhere.
2018-04-11 19:12
who cares, bro? i i say ... no one care!
