Heroic are the fourth team confirmed for the CSGO Asia Championships, Perfect World has announced.

The Danish team join CS:GO Asia Summit winners MVP PK and European duo Natus Vincere and NiP, with four invites now left to be announced.

Currently ranked 16th in the world, Heroic were last seen on LAN at Copenhagen Games, where they finished second to Imperial with backup player Patrick "es3tag" Hansen acting as a stand-in.

Heroic will travel to Shanghai for the CS:GO Asia Championships

It remains unclear whether Heroic will be able to field their full roster at the Asian event. Jakob "JUGi" Hansen last played for the team on March 1, at IEM Katowice, and no return date has been set for the 21-year-old as he continues to deal with personal issues.

The CS:GO Asia Championships will take place sometime in June in Shanghai, with $300,000 up for grabs. The list of participants for the event currently looks as follows:

Tbh they do seem stronger without him in the team, with him they relied on his peeks and plays, with es3tag they are better collectively
2018-04-16 10:45
Not really. Maybe take out rubino instead of es3.

2018-04-16 10:55
Yeah and I answered "Not really". Jugi is their AWPer and best player.
2018-04-16 10:55
Jugi goes to North
2018-04-16 11:29
Maybe that'll help them be a top20 team again.
2018-04-16 11:30

JUGi is 5x better than any player on Heroic. Don't make it sound like he's the problem.

Lul they got invited to blast over so many better teams, what more do you want
2018-04-16 10:46
because it's in istanbul, it would be a shame to have an event in istanbul and not have a turkish team. Other than that for example , ss never got invited to a dreamhack before, even though worse teams were invited.

Ss will play in Belo Horizonte and Istanbul in June, that’s enough action for 1 month already.

By that logic torqued should get invited over so many other NA teams just because they're 'better'
2018-04-16 10:54
There are many better teams than SS. So I'm guessing that's the reason they always have to play qualifiers rather than a direct invite
