Luminosity star Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes is on the brink of joining Não Tem Como, HLTV.org has confirmed.
The move, which was first reported by Teamplay.com.br, is all but finalised and will finally bring to an end Não Tem Como's search for two new players, which began last month, when the team parted ways with Henrique "HEN1" Teles and Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles.
Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes, 19, is widely regarded as one of the hottest Brazilian young talents. He joined Luminosity in July, together with Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato, and ended 2017 as the team's highest-rated player on LAN (1.03), raising eyebrows especially at the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals, where he averaged a 1.34 rating.
It is currently unclear whether chelo will travel to Germany, where the Não Tem Como squad have been bootcamping for over a month now, as the team will be competing in the South American closed qualifier for ESL One Belo Horizonte, which will begin on April 24.
With these two additions, NTC's squad will look as follows:
