DreamHack Masters Marseille will kick off in less than 48 hours, so we have prepared a guide with all the information you need to follow the tournament, including groups, schedule, broadcast talent, and more.

The $250,000 event will take place from April 18-22 at the Dôme de Marseille, in southern France. There will be four GSL groups, each one featuring four teams. The opening and elimination games will be best-of-ones, while the winners' and the decider games will played as best-of-three series.

Can we talk about how C9 has gotten the hardest group in every tournament they have been to this year wtf is this.
2018-04-16 21:59
I'd say sk, mouz and nip is a harder group. It's not like g2/envyus has been good lately
2018-04-16 22:15
SK hasnt really had a good showing at all since stew joined and NiP really isnt going to do much, G2 has always underperformed online but have done ok in lan matches and still look better then sk online. Envyus are bots but not as bot as Valiance. I also still think FaZe is better then Mous they just choke hard af in semis and finals.

Honestly with the way C9 is playing online they should take G2 and Envy out pretty easily. That gets them out of the group stage at least. The only problem is they are BO1 but that works both ways especially with the Faze game.

anyway all the teams are interresting to watch. Of course the 1st fight is to avoided to get eliminated after loosing 2 BO1. And the next stage is to qualify in BO3. I kinda find this format interresting, all the teams can go to quaters anyway. Some have to pack
2018-04-17 00:28
but a underdog can definitely upset in the elimination match and knock the "favorite " out

I really think NiP is gonna win this, with the new roster, NiP's been doing really good especially Dennis and REZ #GONINJAS Sadokist is gone :o It's gonna be a bit boring :(
2018-04-17 02:33
I bet it won’t, Vince is such a great replacement for the great caster in the person of Sadokist Honestly, Vince is a quality caster. He’s got a deep voice, a precise and consistent casting, and boy he gives hype.

Mouz and Astralis are the favorites to me. SS, Liquid, NIP have low expectations and seem to be the dark horses. Expect nothing of Valiance, Renegades, Tyloo, Envy, Gambit. SK, G2, Faze, Fnatic, Navi, and C9 are expected to do well but will undoubtedly disappoint.
2018-04-17 07:37
Bro, Liquid has sky high expectations right now. People expect them to be the next Mouz type of team.

Tyloo over Navi ? Really ??? :x
2018-04-17 15:54
Yes Tyloo beat navi 2-0 at decider.
2018-04-17 15:58
Nice prediction!
2018-04-18 21:26
This tournament would kind of suck if that's who came out of each group. You need at least one NA team to keep everyone interested. I'm going to say C9 makes it past Envy and G2. Honestly Liquid should make it out of theirs as well. Gambit is an easy win and SS should be a fairly easy win as well.
2018-04-17 16:52
This tournament would kind of suck if that's not who came out of each group. You need no NA team to keep everyone interested. I'm going to say C9 cant make it past Envy and G2. Honestly Liquid should never make it out of theirs as well. Gambit is not an easy win and SS shouldnt be a fairly easy win as well.
2018-04-17 17:35
Or we could just lose NA eyeballs as CSGO's player base is dropping due to Valve's shitty biz practices. You want as many people interested in this tournament as possible. Hopefully the teams with big fan bases make it through.
2018-04-17 17:41
I know many NA fans who support European teams and SA teams. Just because you're a NA team fanboy does not mean all north americans should be one as well and threaten to boycott a tournament because there are no NA team making playoff.
2018-04-17 17:49
No one is going to boycott the tournament, lol. It's just a fact that teams draw eyes from their region. Don't be stupid. Obviously there is cross-country fandom. I've always liked VP like everyone else for example. If C9 and Liquid go out in groups though I'm probably not watching anything until the final though.
2018-04-17 17:50
If either c9 or liquid make the playoff, I am probably not gonna watch the tournament at all.
2018-04-17 17:53
So? Your loss. They're both exciting teams and each have one of the best players in the world playing for them. One has two arguably.

I'm so looking forward to this event, i just have a feeling this is going to be epic.... i predict at least one of the outsiders to be in semi's and we will wittness a total choke of a couple of top teams. unfortunately i have a very bad feeling about my homeboys FaZe, if they succeed all's good, if they fail it will be bloody in july, when rosters will change. anyway i WILL stick to the streamings.
