crush joins Vega Squadron
pro100 member Igor "crush" Shevchenko has completed a move to Vega Squadron, the Ukrainian organisation have announced.
The 22-year-old joins Vega Squadron after the two organisations agreed an undisclosed fee for his transfer, which pro100 described as "one of the most expensive in the history of CIS esports".
He will fill one of the two positions on Vega Squadron's roster that have been vacant since the Russian organisation benched Sergey "keshandr" Nikishin and Nikolay "mir" Bityukov due to internal issues.
Igor "crush" Shevchenko had been part of pro100 since May 2017, when the organisation landed the roster known as ACG. While with the team, he attended two CIS Minors, helping the squad to a third place in Moscow and to a fourth place in Bucharest.
Vega Squadron have been placed in Group B of the StarSeries i-League Season 5 CIS Qualifier, alongside FlipSid3, GoodJob and HOLLYWOOD. The qualifier, which will kick off on April 20, will reward the winner with a spot at the $300,000 event.
With crush's addition, Vega Squadron now have:
Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov
Dmitriy "jR" Chervak
Pavel "hutji" Lashkov
Igor "crush" Shevchenko
Nikolay "mir" Bityukov (transfer list)
