Virtue sign ex-Tempo Storm trio
Virtue Gaming have revamped their squad with the signing of three former members of Tempo Storm.
Paulo "land1n" Felipe, Denis "dzt" Fischer and Alef "tatazin" Pereira have all penned deals with Virtue, joining Dener "KHTEX" Barchfield and Lucas "DeStiNy" Bullo in the Brazilian squad, with Ricardo "s1" Shinji, Caike "caike" Costa and Lucas "cad" Oliveira having all been shown the exit door.
The new trio are all former team-mates of DeStiNy from their time together with Tempo Storm. The Brazilian team competed in North America last year in several online tournaments and at the iBUYPOWER GameFest, where they placed 3rd-4th.
Virtue CEO Ricardo "Rica" Sousa told ESPN Esports Brasil that KHTEX and DeStiNy requested these changes to make "the family more unified", and stated that the outgoing trio will remain on the payroll until they find a new team.
"We would like to thank caike, s1 and cad, who played well, but, in order for us to be stronger, we need to make this decision," Sousa added.
"We are an organisation that honours its commitments and that really values its players as people."
An ESL Brasil official has confirmed to ESPN Esports Brasil that Virtue's departing trio will keep the spot in the closed qualifier for ESL One Belo Horizonte, which is scheduled to start on April 24.
