DreamHack Open Summer closed qualifier invites revealed

The organizers have revealed the invited teams to the DreamHack Open Summer closed qualifiers in Europe and North America.

Each region's qualifying process will begin with an open stage on April 27-28, which will see the top four teams make it to the closed qualifier, where they'll join four invited sides.

In Europe, four teams who are currently ranked 19th-24th have been invited, as GODSENT, Imperial, AGO, and Fragsters will battle on Sunday, April 29 for a single spot at the $100,000 tournament.

GODSENT will fight for a spot at DreamHack Open Summer on Sunday

The North American closed qualifier will see Complexity, Rogue, Ghost, and eUnited in action alongside four teams from the open stage.

The DreamHack Open Summer qualifiers will still feature Cobblestone in the map pool, with the new Dust2 replacing Cobblestone from DreamHack Open Valencia qualifiers (May 4-6) on.

Here are the invited teams in each region:

Europe  North America
Sweden GODSENT  United States Complexity
Europe Imperial United States Rogue
Poland AGO Canada Ghost
Denmark Fragsters  United States eUnited

2018-04-27 18:11
Yeees...that team hltv.org/matches/2321818/fragsters-vs-no.. Suns beat Warriors in one of 82 games -> Suns are best team in the world ... american iq at its finest
2018-04-27 19:53
I dont remember this game happening i didnt actually watch the tourney
2018-04-27 21:19
even if you did, you cant judge someone by one game...everyone can beat everyone...all in all, there are like 20 better teams than fragsters outside of top teams, but they are danish so...
2018-04-27 22:36
how do you define top teams? because i call bs on that 20 teams at least with definition of top teams
2018-04-27 22:39
I said top teams than 20 better than fragsters that deserved that spot more than them than fragsters...
2018-04-27 22:40
bullshit the teams like hellraisers and heroic are going to get direct invites
2018-04-28 00:11
