Imperial bench AcilioN
Asger "AcilioN" Larsen has stepped down from Imperial's active roster, the organization has announced via social media.
Asger "AcilioN" Larsen had been part of the roster since its inception under the name MANS NOT HOT at the end of 2017, before the international squad became part of the British organization in March.
In his time with Imperial, the 21-year-old helped his team grab an international title during their offline debut at Copenhagen Games. More recently, they placed 5th-6th at the Qi Invitational following losses to AGO and GODSENT in the group stage.
It's unclear who had initiated the move, as the organization gave no official reason for the Dane's departure from the active roster.
Imperial have already been seen playing without AcilioN recently, as Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut took his place during the DreamHack Open Summer closed qualifier, in which the Frenchman helped the international mixture secure a spot at the $100,000 event. On Twitter, Imperial revealed that the aAa player will also fill in for the team in the upcoming qualifiers for StarSeries Season 5.
Imperial now have:
Neil "NeiL_M" Murphy (coach)
Asger "AcilioN" Larsen (benched)
We have decided to bench AcilioN on our CSGO roster and we'll be announcing our new 5th over the next week or two. ZywOo will stand in once again for this weekends StarSeries qualifiers.— The Imperial (@theimperialgg) May 2, 2018
