starix returns in new k1ck team
Former Natus Vincere member Sergey "starix" Ischuk has linked up with other Eastern European players in Portuguese organisation k1ck.
The 30-year-old was on the lookout for a new team since after shown the exit door by Spirit, whom he had briefly represented during a brief five-month tenure between May and October 2017.
Sergey "starix" Ischuk, who donned Natus Vincere's colours between 2010 and 2015 before coaching the team for two years, is joined in this new team by two other well-known Ukrainian players, Vladyslav "arch" Svistov, a former member of Spirit himself, and Sergey "smike" Sklyarenko, who tried out for HellRaisers in 2016.
Rounding out the roster are Alexander "scoobyxie" Marynych, who attended the recent Bets.net Masters event with forZe, and Lithuanian talent Nikolaj "kalinka" Rysakov, who is mostly known for his time with VwS and Playing Ducks.
"I am very happy to join the K1ck roster as it is one of the oldest Esports organizations in Europe, with a great reputation," starix told HLTV.org.
"We believe that we have found a perfect home for our team here. We are already very happy with the conditions and professionalism of the organization.
"I am pretty sure we can show really good results in the coming future!"
According to k1ck, the players will soon bootcamp in Lithuania as they look to prepare for the CIS qualifiers for the FACEIT Major. The team's roster look as follows:
