Athletico disbands; Havoc and topguN to form new roster
Following the disbandment of the Athletico roster, Luke "Havoc" Paton and Azad "topguN" Orami are on the search for a new organization to represent alongside three other notable Australian players.
After a two-year hiatus from the competitive scene, Luke "Havoc" Paton and Azad "topguN" Orami announced their return under the Athletico banner in mid-March. However, the "experimental" roster quickly fell apart due to "initial roster issues and the lack of tournaments" during the mid-season and did not play an official match.
The Vox Eminor duo reunited with their former comrades at IEM Sydney for a showmatch, with the Aussies winning Dust2 16-15 over Henry "HenryG" Greer's Team UK in front of the home crowd.
With the largest Australian esports event done and dusted, the passion has been re-ignited as the two legends have decided to join forces with three other experienced players featuring 1.6 veteran Mark "deStiny" Kagan, ex-Kings member Travis "wizard" Richardson and former Tainted Minds player Connor "chuch" Morgan.
The new roster is currently looking for an organization to represent and interested parties can contact Havoc for further details.
The new Australian squad looks as follows:
Luke "Havoc" Paton
Azad "topguN" Orami
Mark "deStiny" Kagan
Travis "wizard" Richardson
Connor "chuch" Morgan
