bottle to fill in for TyLoo at StarSeries i-League S5 Asian qualifier
For StarSeries i-League Season 5 Asian qualifier, Eclipse has agreed to lend Lei "bottle" Mao to TyLoo due to Ke "Mo" Liu being hospitalized.
Shortly after a top-four finish at IEM Sydney, unfortunate news has hit the TYLOO side with their longest-standing member Ke "captainMo" Liu injuring himself. The 28-year-old fell off his segway (self-balance scooter) and received a femoral neck fracture from the accident.
Doctors have notified him it was a high possibility that he would need to undergo surgery, which meant he would be absent from any upcoming matches for an indefinite time period to recover. Currently ranked 13th in our world rankings, TYLOO have quickly found a substitute in the form of Lei "bottle" Mao from Eclipse for the time being.
HLTV.org have reached out to the Chinese side for further updates, who have qualifiers for ESL One: Cologne 2018 and CS:GO Asia Championships lined up this month too. On his Weibo page, captainMo gave the following update on his situation below:
"Femoral neck fracture, I will have to book the surgery as soon as possible. I may have to miss upcoming matches or tournaments. Thank you everyone for caring." (translated by Sheng "BlueS" Lai)
The single-elimination playoffs for the Asian qualifier is scheduled to commence today and the Chinese-Indonesian crew will be facing SCARZ Absolute with the following roster:
