ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals viewer's guide

With the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals set to start on Tuesday, we have put together a viewer's guide with all the information you need regarding the event.

Held in Dallas, Texas, the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals will run on May 15-20 with 16 teams from around the globe battling it out for a share of the $750,000 prize-pool.

This will be the ninth event counting towards the Intel Grand Slam, which will award one million dollars to the first squad that wins four out of ten events. FaZe and SK lead the run with two victories, with Astralis and fnatic trailing by one.

SK won the sixth edition alongside TACO

Seven of the participants are from Europe, six from North America, two from Asia-Pacific and one from the Latin American region. Squads have been drawn into two groups of eight, as you can find below:

Group A Group B
Europe mousesports North America Liquid
Ukraine Natus Vincere Sweden NiP
United States NRG Denmark OpTic
Europe FaZe Turkey Space Soldiers
United States Cloud9 Australia Renegades

The tournament will kick off with a double-elimination group stage, with matches being best-of-three series after the first round. The teams who top their respective groups will advance directly to the semi-finals, while second and third-place finishers will have to go through the first round of playoffs, which will be held at the Verizon Theatre.

Not going to watch. I don't support their business model this season, so I won't make them money through views on their partner streams.

FFS WHY FACEBOOK THERE IS NO HYPE WHILE WATCHING, as much as I hate twitch chat, at least its fun to see people spamming VAC whenever a mouse weirdly hovers on someone through the walls or if someone pulls a godly play. No feeling of a community, sad.

The chat is full of autistic retards, but at least it does help people feel that there are other people watching and you're not the only retard watching sharks Vs MVP.pk at 4AM in the night. Plus, they do help hype shit up.

Sadakist, will he ever be back from the dead?
2018-05-13 20:40
I'd say look for him at next big event.. He only got his twitch account back less than 2 weeks ago, so ESL probably had his commentary spot already filled in as they have to do this stuff several weeks ahead of time. I know this tournament is broadcast on facebook, but still, I doubt sado wants to jump back into casting this fast and probably wants to sit it out for a little bit longer.
