Space Soldiers are struck with visa issues again, as their player Buğra "Calyx" Arkın was declined entrance to the United States. Instead of him, the team will be using their backup player Çağatay "DESPE" Sedef.
The news about Buğra "Calyx" Arkın's visa issues follow shortly after Space Soldiers had to pull out of IEM Sydney 2018, alongside Natus Vincere, and the more recent news of NRG's UK-based coach Ian "Immi" Harding not being able to attend the ESL Pro League S7 Finals.
The information that Space Soldiers wouldn't be able to use Calyx at the upcoming $750,000 event, and that they would be playing with Çağatay "DESPE" Sedef instead, was leaked on Twitter before being confirmed by a Space Soldiers official.
DESPE, who became a reserve player for Space Soldiers back in May of 2017, will be play his first games for the Turkish side since November, when he stood in for Ahmet "paz" Karahoca at the WESG 2017 EU&CIS Regional Finals.
Therefore, Space Soldiers will have the following roster at ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals:
Canpolat "hardstyle" Yıldıran (coach)
