Stephanie "missharvey" Harvey has returned to CLG Red as Lily "ProMise9k" Chen has parted ways with the team, the North American organization have announced.
The five-time ESWC champion Stephanie "missharvey" Harvey returns to competition after hanging up the mouse nearly a year ago to seek her "next challenge," with the 32-year-old featuring on Ginx TV and Heads Up Daily.
In the past month, missharvey had been trying out for CLG Red, who "were thrilled with the results" in preparation for the new upcoming ESEA Season 28 Advance division, which is set to start May 15 and will run through June 22.
In the announcement, CLG Red also parted ways with Lily "ProMise9k" Chen, who filled the gap left by Christine "potter" Chi’s departure back in January. During Chen’s time with the team, she helped CLG Red qualify for Intel Challenge Katowice 2018, where they placed 7th-8th, and to reach the semi-finals in Copenhagen Games 2018's female tournament.
"I’m very excited to bring it on board with the new CLG Red team," missharvey said. "Wish us luck for the next ESEA season, we’re going to be in Advanced.
"It’s going to be lots of fun. I’m excited to show you my new skills and play with my new team!”
CLG Director of Esports Matt "Trinitiii" Nausha also commented on the changes, expressing his belief that missharvey's return will have a positive impact on the team.
"I am pleased to welcome missharvey back to CLG," he said. "She was an integral part of CLG Red in its creation and accomplishments.
"It is a great opportunity for both parties to reconnect and bring everything full circle.
"Over the course of the past few weeks the team has been playing with missharvey and it goes without saying the practices went very well. I am excited to welcome back missharvey and for the future of the team."
With these changes, CLG Red’s roster now looks as follows:
