FaZe run over Cloud9; mouz defeat Sharks in opening EPL matches

FaZe defeated Cloud9 16-3 on Cache while mousesports recovered from a bad start against Sharks on Inferno to secure a 16-10 victory.

Pujan "FNS" Mehta was the man of the hour in the pistol round, as Cloud9's in-game leader secured four kills in a post-plant on the A site to get his team the first round, but the North Americans didn't build on that as their anti-force execute on A didn't work out and Nikola "NiKo" Kovač picked up a couple of frags with the Deagle.

FaZe were up 3-1 before Cloud9 afforded their first buy, which Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham turned into a round win by edging out an after plant on A. The North American team's economy was on the edge after that, and losing the followup meant that their bank was broken.

FaZe weren't bothered by Cloud9 on Cache

Finn "karrigan" Andersen's team started building a lead as they didn't fall to their opponents' force-buys, making the score 6-2. In what was almost a replay of earlier rounds, Cloud9 then won a close A site afterplant which they couldn't follow up on, leaving their bank totally broken going into the last part of the half.

FaZe didn't take the pedal off the gas and ran off to a 12-3 half time score, which they promptly converted into a 16-3 victory.

The team that earned their spot at the event through the Latin America qualifier, Sharks, surprised mousesports early on in their first match, on Inferno. The Brazilian team ran up a 6-0 lead as Terrorists, with Raphael "exit" Lacerda leading his side forward with an 11-1 K-D.

Sharks were looking good to extend their lead further, as they were in a 3v1 against Chris "chrisJ" de Jong, but the Dutchman pulled off a big clutch, killing the bomb planter through a smoke and winning the round as time ran out.

mousesports turned it around then and there, winning a 2v2 in the following round before tying up the score at 6-6. Sharks added two more rounds to their tally before the half ended, but with the second pistol round going the way of Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný and co., the momentum shifted mousesports' way.

With oskar and Miikka "suNny" Kemppi leading the way, mousesports secured eight straight Terrorist rounds, eventually closing out the game 16-10.

What the fuck are you talking about? Lol Faze - c9 have at least 2 extremely close, epic bo3 series. 1 at the major, and then im pretty sure the second was at star series, where they went to double overtime on the last map and c9 had three (almost four) clutches in a row to almost win the game. Then i said i thought there was another series, or at least a bo1, that was also really close, but that im not exactly sure about. Please explain what you are unable to understand...
