Heroic and Natus Vincere are off to great starts at the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals after defeating NRG and MVP PK, respectively.

Starting out as CTs, Heroic picked up the first pistol round thanks to double-kills from Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen and Jorgen "cromen" Robertsen in a 4v4 retake, and followed that up with an anti-eco. NRG were able to buy in the third round, but Heroic remained in the driving seat with a very strong defence.

It was only in the seventh round that NRG managed to get their first on the board. But Heroic instantly crushed the North Americans' economy, and, after that, lost only two rounds before switching sides – the second of which thanks to a 1v3 post-plant clutch from Ethan "nahtE" Arnold with a Deagle.

niko led the way for Heroic with a 1.75 rating

After winning the second pistol round, NRG were able to bring the scoreline to 6-12. However, Heroic quickly retook control of proceedings and sealed the deal without losing any more rounds.

Meanwhile, Natus Vincere took on MVP PK, also on Mirage. The Koreans began the map on the right foot with a 3-0 lead, but Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko's men then took control of proceedings, stringing nine rounds together.

MVP PK still managed to reduce the deficit to three rounds befeore half-time, and then they kept themselves in it after winning their second pistol. But that would not change the course of the game, however, as Natus Vincere went on a seven-round streak to lock down the map.
