Mousesports are in the quarter-finals at the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals after beating Heroic 2-0 (16-9 on Cache and 16-14 on Mirage).

Starting the series on their map pick, Cache, Heroic won the pistol round without taking any casualties, and they had no problems closing out the following anti-eco rounds. mousesports then won their first gun round, but Heroic quickly fired back and then made it 5-1.

Robin "ropz" Kool and Martin "STYKO" Styk nearly won the next round for mousesports with both players managing two Deagle headshots, but it went to waste as they didn't have enough time to defuse the bomb.

suNny showed up big to eliminate Heroic

Able to buy up once more, mousesports finally denied a B attack from the Scandinavians to make it 6-3. With solid play from Miikka "suNny" Kemppi, who managed a quad kill in the 13th round, they pulled themselves back and denied most of what Heroic had in store for them, ending the half with a narrow 8-7 lead.

Now on the Terrorist side, mousesports continued their good form, winning the pistol round and the subsequent anti-ecos to take an 11-7 lead. They powered through all the way to 14-7 before Heroic finally answered back, winning the next two rounds.

mousesports had money in the bank for one more full buy, which ended up taking them to map point. The Swedish player-coach Andreas "MODDII" Fridh almost denied mousesports the map win with a quad kill holding B, but STYKO made sure his team took Cache in the end.

The second map was Mirage, where Heroic started out winning the pistol round as CTs. Once again, though, the Deagle buys from mousesports's players paid off as they won the ensuing round to level the score.

The European mixture then looked unstoppable for a long while, denying Heroic every time the Scandinavians had money to fully buy up. They made it to 8-1 before Heroic finally got back on the board with only pistols.

Heroic took three more rounds before mousesports turned to their trusty old Deagles in the 13th round, once again using the big pistols to catch the Scandinavians off-guard. The two teams traded rounds up until the end of the half, which ended 9-6 in mousesports' favour.

The pistol round after the side switch ended up looking like something out of a slasher film, with Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen getting two knife kills while denying a defuse from mousesports.

Heroic took the next two anti ecos two make the scoreline even at 9-9. A keenly-contested period ensued, with rounds going back and forth, but then mousesports won two in a row to make it to match point. Heroic tried valiantly to force overtime, but Chris "chrisJ" de Jong and his men ended up winning the nail-biter in the final round of regulation.

If anything this tournament made it clear that Cromen has the ability to play for a mid-table EPL side. +Cromen -rubiNO when

This was so fucking annoying on mirage, they did the same thing against navi. STRONG AF b site hits constant entries from moddii, then they try A site n get fucked. They had mouz on the fucking ropz. But that fucker plays the same spot 2 rounds in a row and domes friburger then cromen. Right next to triple. They lose 1 b site exec, then were afraid to go back.ughhhhh! Lost same way to mouz n navi, but besides that, WP! Didnt expect them to go that far! Everyone played great imo. +cromen -botbino youtu.be/Tf-nFsBgL9E

Good tournament by Heroic. Cromen proved himself he can play for a good team. Hopefully he gets picked by a good Scandinavian org.
