GODSENT open with a win against AGO; EnVyUs obliterate HellRaisers
GODSENT beat AGO 16-11 in their Group A opener, while EnVyUs made quick work of HellRaisers, 16-3.
The Group A opener between GODSENT and AGO kicked off with the Swedish side taking the pistol round on the CT side, but an A strike with pistols by the Poles evened out the score quick. With Desert Eagles, UMPs, and CZs, GODSENT got back in the lead, breaking AGO’s economy and running away with an early lead. With 4-2 on the board, Tomasz "phr" Wójcik and Michał "snatchie" Rudzki won a 2vs1 after plant in the last second by killing Hampus "hampus" Poser who tried to stick a defuse in smoke. The following round also went the way of the Poles as phr won a 1vs3 clutch on B. That would be as far as AGO would go, though, as GODSENT then closed the half out giving up but one more round, 10-5.
The second half saw GODSENT increase their lead early on, taking the first four rounds. After AGO won one, Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin was able to get his team on match point with a 1vs2 clutch. GODSENT weren’t able to close it out, though, as Mateusz "TOAO" Zawistowski kept his team alive with a three kill round. It would be too little too late, however, as the Swedes would finally go on to close it out, 16-11, to tally their first victory in Tours.
