Red Reserve parted ways with its squad, with players such as Fredrik "FREDDyFROG" Gustafsson and Niclas "PlesseN" Plessen set to continue playing together, for the time being under the name Japaleno.
The Swedish organization was represented by a mixture of their old squad and former fnatic Academy members since the end of October, when Niclas "PlesseN" Plessen and Linus "Bååten" Andersson joined up with Fredrik "FREDDyFROG" Gustafsson, Joakim "Relaxa" Gustafsson and Daniel "djL" Narancic.
Since then, Red Reserve was unable to have a break-out performance, floating between the 30th and 50th place in our rankings. The team attended two LANs in 2018, placing 5-8th at the Copenhagen Games BYOC and 7-8th at the Bets.net Masters, where they played with a stand-in.
The team and the organization recently decided to part ways, but the five players will continue playing together and are looking for a new organization to represent in ESEA MDL S28 and other competitions.
djL said the following to HLTV.org:
"Me, Relaxa, Plessen, Baaten and FREDDyFROG have officially parted ways with Red Reserve for different circumstances. We both had high expectations, but right now, we could not meet them. We are really thankful for our time in Red Reserve and the opportunities we were given by the organization. Thanks for everything Red CEO Patrik."
"We are now officially searching for a new organization to represent in MDL S28. We are motivated to continue together and keep practicing hard to achieve our goals. Every RT would be appreciated for helping us find our new home! Reach us via mail: firstname.lastname@example.org"
The following squad is on the outlook for a new home:
