Kevin "AZK" Larivière has decided to part ways with Torqued, the Canadian player has revealed.
The 27-year-old wrote in a Twitlonger post that he has decided "to pursue opportunities elsewhere" after learning that he was going to be benched on the North American roster.
Keven "AZK" Lariviere's departure comes just days after Braxton "swag" Pierce decided to part ways with the team, who had recently returned from DreamHack Open Tours. It was still in France, AZK adds, that he discovered that he would not be playing at the upcoming ESL One Belo Horizonte event and in the new ESEA season.
“After taking some time to reflect on everything that has happened, I've decided to leave Torqued to pursue opportunities elsewhere," the Canadian player wrote.
"I will still be playing CS:GO actively and I'll be working every day on trying to improve as a player.
“I wanted to finish by saying that there's no bad blood between us and I sincerely wish the best of luck to all of the guys on Torqued."
Torqued are now down to just three members, with a limited window to find two replacements for the upcoming ESL Belo Horizonte event in Brazil, which will run from June 13-17.
