TyLoo stun Na`Vi, AGO overcome Virtus.pro

TYLOO upset Natus Vincere 2-0 (Mirage 19-16, Overpass 16-12), while AGO came out on top of the Polish derby with a 2-0 victory (Train 19-17, Inferno 16-13) over Virtus.pro in Kiev.

The second round of matches in Kiev saw Natus Vincere take on TYLOO, who have Yue "AE" Yu standing in for the injured Ke "captainMo" Liu at the tournament.

The series began on Mirage, where Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev kicked things off with a 1v2 clutch in the pistol round as Na`Vi quickly went up 3-0. TYLOO soon equalized things, with Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand clutching a 1v3 along the way, and the half continued to go back and forth in threes as Natus Vincere switched over to Counter-Terrorists at 9-6.

BnTeT spearheaded the upset

TYLOO made it even at 9-9 on the back of a pistol round victory and a 1v5 triumph from HaoWen "somebody" Xu in the following anti-eco. The two teams started trading rounds, with Na`Vi clinching map point at 15-12, but TYLOO pulled through to overtime, where they finished things off at 19-16 to claim a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three.

Overpass, the choice of Natus Vincere, started poorly for the Ukrainian-Russian side, who quickly found themselves down 1-7 on the Terrorist side. Clinching four out of the remaining seven rounds, they gave themselves a chance on the second map, but TYLOO extended their advantage after winning the second pistol round as well.

Much like on the first map, the two teams went back and forth from there on, which allowed the Chinese side to clinch match point at 15-9 and finish off the series despite Natus Vincere's efforts at 16-12.

In the other match, Virtus.pro and AGO locked horns in the Polish derby, which started on Train, the former team's pick. Although the teams went even at the beginning, as VP grabbed the pistol and Damian "Furlan" Kislowski & co. prevailed in the first gunrounds, Filip "NEO" Kubski's team switched over to the CT side with a comfortable 9-6 lead.

Virtus.pro continued their crusade with five rounds in a row in the second half, reaching their 14th round, but there was still life left in their rivals, who won eight out of the next nine rounds to take the first map to overtime. There, AGO completed the comeback with two rounds on each side for a 19-17 victory.

Snatchie's AWP play gave AGO the overtime win on Train

Inferno saw AGO establish dominance from the get-go, grabbing an 8-1 lead on the defense to put Virtus.pro on the back foot. The remaining six rounds were split evenly, as Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski's side went over to the Counter-Terrorist side with only four rounds to their name, but a pistol round victory lowered their deficit to four rounds.

The first gunround went the way of AGO, which allowed them to reach their 13th round, but Virtus.pro went on a five-round streak to make it 13-12. The next two rounds were exchanged, which forced AGO on a shoddy buy, but they still made it work and finished off the series at 16-13, 2-0.

Those idiots lost a chance to sign MIR, now he plays in Gambit. Why is Edward still in the team? He's so braindead, well, he has always been, but in the past he could make up for that by his good aim, now he's too old for that and it's not 1.6, still he doesn't change his style and still Na`Vi keeps that bot in the team. Na`Vi should change their logo to facepalm. -Neo please, whatever strats he calls - they don't work. P.S. Playing bo3 in the first round is dumb, who wants to watch the Chinese teams, AGO, AVANGAR, BOTSENT play? The first day is a waste of time.

Way more fun watching these lower tier teams play bo3 against these big teams; bo1 can be over in 1 bad decision by 1 player who fucks up 1 round, that fucks up your economy and then ct side is over and game over. Bo3 leaves more wiggle room... would it be fair to have SK only play the 16-1 game today? They are obviously better than that since they smashed Tyloo (sort of) in the next 2 maps. It takes a bo3 to see that Na'Vi is now the shittiest tier 3 team in the world, we wouldn't have known that in a bo1

Vici Gaming + Flash Gaming = VG.Flash, and they used the logo of the old Vici Gaming for the new team.

You should be more respectful to the players, you don't even know them. Being on the internet doesn't mean that you're allowed to insult anyone. You are nothing more online than you are IRL and you don't have any more rights neither. Just keep in mind that those persons are very nice and peaceful, on top of being way better at this game than you'll probably ever be. Why would they keep Edward ? They've got reasons to, and they in fact don't even need to argue about it.

Someone's being a nice person doesn't help him/her be a good performer of his/her job, "nice person" is not an occupation, e.g. kNg is retarded but he's still a good player, while Neo is very humble and quiet and he still sucks at doing his job as a player of VP. Edward is useless for Na`Vi more than aizy is for North.

Teamwork is not just about rating. You got s1mple and Eletronic. Sometimes, chemistry and relationship are also important for a championship candidate. Of course, they're not as good as before, but at least they're paid to play. And for me, winning is not everything. Seeing those old guys keep going is bigger than game itself.

I want to see them play. To see if they really deserve to move on, and Tyloo does. They made top 4 at IEM against an on-form FaZe who won. Now Tyloo just needs to always bootcamp in EU, and I'm sure EU teams will be glad to scrim with them.

Because this format truly tests teams, there’s no way you can be “unlucky” to go out by losing 2 bo1s. If you go to the playoffs or are eliminated, then you have deserved it
2018-05-28 17:00

first round bo1, next rounds bo3 point - less time for boring (in terms of gameplay, not in terms of unexpected result) matches but still you need to lose 2 bo3 to eliminate yourself for example, today only mouz-north is spectacular, the rest is nonamers vs famous teams

BnTeT > s1mple. With rifle and the IN GAME LEADER, still putting up those ridiculous #s. All s1mple does is AWP good for him, Zeus gets best performance out of his awpers always has, BnTeT is doing EVERYTHING for Tyloo not even a fair comparison the guy is in game leader and as a rifler putting up those #s hahahha best player in the world BnTeT.

I think I've been out of the loop for a while, but how TF does a team with the likes of s1mple, electronic and Edward lose to a relatively newer Asian Team? And what happened to VP? They don't remind me of the Polish Dream Team that they were a few years back.
2018-05-28 16:09
zues and edward bots of the team........ i have seen some really stupid plays from edward which makes me wonder is he really a pro.Its like watching koosta on dd2 and cache and could make fail compilation videos of both of them every 2-3 months with 20 min content per player ....
2018-05-28 17:45
Csgo in 2018 wtf
2018-05-28 16:10
I want to think Zeus and Edward sing Africa by Toto to their teammates every night before sleep. "It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you".

Valve should've banned VP long time ago when they were proved to bet on their own match which was already played and broadcasted afterwards as a live show. This VP is a fcking disgrace to the scene. I feel so bad for Swag and co.

BNTET is really showing up his talent against top teams(maybe not just NA'VI), happy to see that... For NA'VI, they need to make some big change for sure...I don't think zeus has did great jobs, at least his team can't follow what he thinks, like Edward, he might be a good person but he is the thing that NA'VI can't go to the top tier...
2018-05-28 21:16
Aleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev 56 - 39 +17 95.8 1.45 Dude, S1mple deserves a better team. Even when the whole match is falling in pieces around him, he still manages to stay positive and try to carry. If he were in a better team, no one would stop him.

Hardly it will happen. Fer and Fallen has been together since they were underdogs here in Brazil, and Cold became really close to them as well (for us is easier to see this, since we have more material in Portuguese to watch), but they have a relationship of brothers.
