NRG, GODSENT eliminate HR, TyLoo in Kiev

NRG and GODSENT managed to stay alive at StarSeries i-League Season 5 after knocking out HellRaisers and TyLoo, respectively.

The fourth day at StarSeries i-League Season 5 kicked off with two elimination matches featuring teams with 1-2 records. NRG took on HellRaisers in a best-of-three series that kicked off on Overpass.

The North American side started on the T-side and got two entry kills in the pistol round but Issa "ISSAA" Murad stepped up with a triple kill to win it for HellRaisers. After ecoing in the second round, [nrg] bought guns in the third and won it thanks to Jacob "FugLy" Medina's two opening kills, trailing 2-1.

NRG managed to stay alive in Kiev

NRG went on an incredible round streak, winning nine in a row without losing many players in most of the rounds. HellRaisers were able to pick up their third round to stop the streak but NRG secured the last three rounds of the half to finish it 12-3 ahead. Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte's quad kill in the second half pistol round was the final nail in the coffin as NRG resisted HellRaisers' force buys and won Overpass 16-3.

Inferno opened up with NRG's pistol round victory on the CT-side. They made it 4-0 after picking up the first gun round and extended their lead to 6-0 before HellRaisers could respond. Özgür "woxic" Eker & co. secured five rounds in a row and cut the deficit to only one round (6-5). However, NRG ran away with it and won the half 10-5.

HellRaisers came within one round of NRG once more as they picked up the first four rounds in the second half (10-9). NRG didn't let HellRaisers tie up the game and extended their lead to 14-10. The North Americans acquired four match points with a 2vs4 victory and closed out the map with 16-13 scoreline. They won the series 2-0, improved their record to 2-2, and eliminated HellRaisers from StarSeries i-League Season 5.

The other elimination game was between TYLOO and GODSENT. The Chinese started Mirage on the CT-side, winning eleven of the first thirteen rounds. GODSENT picked up the last two rounds of the half and trailed 11-4 at halftime.

The Swedes had a positive start to the second half, grabbing the pistol round victory with a bomb defuse. They trailed 12-9 and 14-12 at different points of the match but TYLOO managed to close it out 16-12.

GODSENT have improved their record to 2-2

GODSENT's reaction was brutal on Overpass as they won the first seven rounds. Yue "AE" Yu got a triple kill in a 2vs3 situation to give TYLOO their first round but GODSENT were unfazed and went on to win the half 13-2. Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin's team didn't drag it out in the second half and won the map 16-2.

The beatdown continued on Inferno where the T-sided GODSENT had a 13-2 lead in the first half. The Swedes made it 14-2 after winning the second half pistol round and went on to win the game 16-7 and the series 2-1, eliminating TYLOO and improving their record to 2-2.

Damn, Woxic was terrible today, if he doesn't show up Hellraisers are usually fucked.

didn't expect it to be so ez for GODSENT. Tyloo is pretty shit unless BnTeT carries apparently. Should get AttackeR and Freeman and maybe Summer too, get rid of the bots in the team

i do beleive that loveyy get in into the flash roster 2nd time (he was kick with karsa, but they picked him up back in a few weeks or so) jsut because china/sea region doesnt have lots of expirienced players (weird that they didnt pick savage over any of those 2, he is just a legendary player with tons of expirience); there is guy on hltv with name "zhoking? more like joKing", and he's not far from the truth :D

Woxic was probably tilted from yesterday. On twitter he called themselves throwraisers, and it didn't seem like it was in a joking way.

You do realize that he called you a retard, right? Because the wording in the headline is insanely common in sports journalism and anyone with 50+ iq understands it

I understand what the article tries to convey, however, its not insanely common anywhere else than HLTV. And its still a utterly stupid wording. Replace the comma with the word "and", and it becomes slightly better. Just read it out loud. Then maybe you'll understand.
2018-05-31 18:50
You obviously don't read much outside of HLTV. Nothing wrong with that, but there's no need to project your stupidity upon us

Show me just one example of this wording. Just one. It cant be hard. Its insanely common, right? Untill then, sit your swedish beta ass down boy.

You cant be that dumb. Thats not even close to being the same.
2018-05-31 22:32
Are you mentally retarded? It's the exact same principle, replacing what is an "and" in speech to a comma

The main difference, and reason for it to be so tilting is, that HLTV uses it to list several games, whereas your example lists different players in the same game. So it makes for an akward sentence, and I highly doubt anyone, ever, said it like the way its written.
2018-05-31 22:42
It's done for different teams as well... cbssports.com/nhl/news/blues-ducks-in-ne.. It's a headline, it doesn't need to be written as it is spoken. It's very common and if anything it is HLTV that has been slow to adapt it
