Gfinity Elite Series Australia S1 set to start
The first edition of Gfinity Australia's inaugural Elite Series is ready to kick off this weekend on June 2.
Six city-based esports clubs will compete for a share of $225,000 AUD (~$170,600) across three game titles—Street Fighter V, Rocket League and CS:GO. The CS:GO edition will feature an $80,000 AUD (~$60,000) prize pool according to the season's total prize breakdown.
The LAN league will run for seven weeks at Hoyts Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, Sydney, Australia. It will feature a best-of-one, round-robin groupstage, with the top four teams advancing on to the BO3 single-elimination playoffs, accompanied by the best-of-five grand final that will determine the winner.
All matches will be streamed exclusively on Twitch, with the following on-air broadcast talent taking you through the live action:
