Heroic beat eUnited to advance to DH Austin playoffs

Heroic are the first team confirmed for the DreamHack Open Austin playoffs after defeating eUnited 16-10 on Overpass.

The Group A winners' match saw eUnited, who had beaten Fragsters in their opening match, take on Heroic, who had defeated Luminosity. The clash kicked off with a chaotic duel in B, where North Americans came out on top with a triple-kill from Kaleb "moose" Jayne.

After following that up with the anti-ecos, Will "dazzLe" Loafman and Brandon "Ace" Winn nearly pulled off a 2v3 post-plant clutch, but the latter could not defuse the bomb in time. Still, eUnited responded with a flawless B defence to break Heroic's economy and remain in the driving seat.

Heroic through to playoffs in Austin

In the tenth round, however, Heroic were finally able to bag their second round, which sparked a great run from Adam "friberg" Friberg's men, who brought the deficit to 6-9.

Heroic carried that momentum into the second half, winning the opening four rounds to take the lead for the first time in the match. eUnited responded immediately to find an equalizer, but it was in vain as Patrick "es3tag" Hansen's men went on a six-round streak to run out 16-10 victors.

they just say that to be nice to keep es3tag from getting kicked because if people found out how bad and worthless he is he would be replaced, he is total shit

Tbh.. Es3tag is probably Heroic most important player atm. I know stats isn't saying that much. But except for friberg who just joined, he is the highest rated player on the team throughout 2018. Es3tag can also play every role, and is currently their caller and Awper. He also played lurk, and support in Heroic before Rubino joined. He's actually kinda like a budget valde, who can just pick up whatever role is needed of him.. Worthless? NT

So that means he is just average and don't have a role which he is the best at it. So definitely switch from average at any role to someone who is really good in 1 role and play with him!

So.. Change the player with basically the highest stats and the most important roles in the team? Like i said: He's probably their most important player ATM.. Getting rid of es3tag in heroic is just retarded!

Good luck eUnited. You can do it again Surely LG can't lose to Fragsters in a BO3 so it's going to take a hell of a push for eUnited to make playoffs
