cromen to fill in for FaZe in Belo Horizonte
Jorgen "cromen" Robertsen will be FaZe's fifth player at ESL One Belo Horizonte, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač has revealed.
The Norwegian talent will replace Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer, who has decided to extend his personal leave of absence after concluding that he was not yet ready to return to action.
This will be the second tournament in a row that cromen will attend with FaZe, after being called to play for the team at the ECS Season 5 Finals, which began earlier on Friday.
The 23-year-old, who earned his first shot at international Counter-Strike with dignitas last year, recently filled in for Heroic at the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals and at DreamHack Open Austin, putting in an average 1.14 rating in Dallas.
ESL One Belo Horizonte will run from June 13-17 at the Mineirinho Arena, with $200,000 on the line. FaZe have been drawn in Group A, alongside SK, Space Soldiers and Torqued, with their first match pitting them against the North American side.
This means that FaZe will attend the Brazilian event with:
Finn "karrigan" Andersen
Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
Håvard "rain" Nygaard
Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács
Jorgen "cromen" Robertsen (stand-in)
Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström (coach)
