Swole Patrol and Complexity have secured spots at the ZOTAC Cup Masters Americas Regional Finals after placing top two in the North American closed qualifier.
Through the quarter-final stages of the single-elimination qualifier, Swole Patrol dominated Bravado in the decider of their three-map series, while Complexity trounced Freedom 35 after just two maps.
The biggest surprise of the quarter-finals happened in TeamOne's match as the WESG semi-finalists were no match for F1-racecar-PEEK.
Swole Patrol and Rogue kicked off the semi-final action with a massive comeback from Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir and co. in the second half of Mirage to take the series lead. Rogue claimed Train in a one-sided affair, but, in the end, Swole Patrol took control on the decider map, Overpass, to secure the 2-1 victory.

On the other side of the bracket, Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan led Complexity with a 1.78 rating on Nuke to help secure the map and the series lead over F1-racecar-PEEK. Then, Complexity sealed passage to the Americas Regional Finals with a 16-3 stomping on Train, where Rory "dephh" Jackson made the map his playground (1.97 rating, 125.7 ADR).

With Swole Patrol and Complexity securing the final qualifier slots, there is now just one spot up for grabs at the event, which will go to an invite team.
The ZOTAC Cup Masters Americas Regional Finals will be held at the Esports Arena, in Santa Ana, from June 30 to July 1, with $20,000 on the line in addition to a spot at the main ZOTAC Cup Masters event, in Hong Kong.
