The offline finals for the sixth edition of ESL Australia & New Zealand Championship will kick off on Friday, featuring eight Oceanic teams and ~$15,200 prize pool on offer.

The Australian event will run from June 15-17 at Supanova Expo in Sydney Showground, Olympic Park. Twice the number of teams have been given the opportunity to showcase their abilities in a LAN environment this season after the previous seasons' finals originally fielded four teams.

The eight teams have been separated into two groups, featuring a best-of-one, round-robin format. The top two teams of each group will advance to the best-of-three, single-elimination playoffs that will take place on the final two days.

The best teams in Australia will be in attendance

Below are the complete team list and groups:

The Australian on-air talent will feature current Legacy coach Iain "SnypeR" Turner and ex-Athletico in-game leader Stuart "sonic" Rayner analyzing the matches. They will be joined by other local commentators including Jordan "Elfishguy" Mays, who recently made a name for himself on the big stages at IEM Sydney 2018 and ESL Pro League S7 Finals. The broadcast team is as follows:

Australia Danny "dK" Kim - Desk Host

Australia Iain "SnypeR" Turner - Analyst
Australia Stuart "sonic" Rayner - Analyst

Australia Jordan "Elfishguy" Mays - Commentator
Australia Tim "brainstorm" Dunne - Commentator
Australia Mitch "pili" Pilpowski - Commentator
Australia Kevin "KaRath" Zhu - Commentator

Australia Michael "MC" Campagna - Observer
Australia James "FiiSHED" Dolphin - Observer

The $20,000 AUD (~$15,200) prize breakdown is as follows:

1. $8,000 AUD (~$6,080)
2. $3,500 AUD (~$2,660)
3-4. $2,250 AUD (~$1,750)
5-8. $1,000 AUD (~$760)
