fox, who has prior experience in the role from guiding dignitas, admitted that the team "did not expect" to lose to Giants, and lamented HS' decision to pick Train instead of Inferno as the decider map against the Portuguese team.
"When HS did the veto, we were not present," fox explained. "He said to me that someone had told him that Giants were very strong on Inferno and that he decided to bet on Train so there would be no surprises.
"I spoke with him after the match, because I thought that Train had been randomly picked. Inferno is perhaps my best map. It is between Inferno and Mirage. He had a mental block or something, or he was a bit scared.
"It was our first offline tournament, it is normal that we are a bit stressed. cheti had not played at a professional level for two years, so pressure got to him a bit, but that is normal.
"But the map decision was our biggest mistake, because I believe that on Inferno we could have beaten them or at least put up more of a fight, because we did not have any chances on Train."
Tempo Storm are already confirmed for Fusion.bet Masters II, a $10,000 online tournament kicking off on Tuesday, and will also take part in the final two open qualifiers for the Europe Minor, the first of which begins in just a few hours.
