The clash kicked off on Train, the map picked by the Brazilians, who were making their first LAN appearance. Não Tem Como picked up a near-perfect T-side pistol, in what seemed to be a great start from them. But after Robin "ropz" Kool responded with an impressive Five Seven quad-kill to win the subsequent round for his team, mousesports fully took the reins of the game.
Não Tem Como still attempted a comeback after winning the 15th round and the second pistol, but, just like in the first half, they could not follow that up, and mousesports went on to finish off the map, 16-3.
Bruno "bit" Lima's men began their opponents' map pick, Mirage, as CTs and with yet another successful pistol. This time around, Não Tem Como remained in control and won both anti-ecos and the first full gun round.
mousesports then bagged their first round with a triple-kill from Chris "chrisJ" de Jong, but Não Tem Como immediately crushed their economy. After building up their economy, however, the EUropeans strung two rounds together to reduce the deficit to 3-6.
mousesports lost only one of the next five rounds, but Não Tem Como managed to win the final round of the half to switch sides with a narrow 8-7 lead. However, after switching sides mousesports came out with all guns blazing, conceding just one round before hitting match point. NTC still tried to mount a comeback, but their efforts were in vain as chrisJ's side would lock down the map at 16-12.
