Na`Vi beat Virtus.pro to win CS:GO Asia Championships

Natus Vincere have won the CS:GO Asia Championships 2018 after picking up a 2-1 victory over Virtus.pro 2-1 (3-16 on Dust2, 16-4 on Nuke and 16-6 on Train).

The title decider kicked off on Dust2, Virtus.pro's map pick. The Poles started it off on the right foot, winning their T-side pistol and the subsequent anti-eco, but they could not follow that up in the third round due to double-kills from Egor "flamie" Vasilyev and Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev.

Still, Virtus.pro remained in control, stringing five rounds together before Natus Vincere were finally able to win their second of the game. But the Ukrainian side simply could not stop the Polish team, who even saw Paweł "byali" Bieliński and Filip "NEO" Kubski turn a 2v5 situation around.

Up 12-3, Virtus.pro picked up a perfect pistol, which they followed up with three more rounds, with byali topping the scoreboard with an impressive 1.89 rating.

Natus Vincere came from behind to beat Virtus.pro

Nuke, Natus Vincere's map pick, began with Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko's men cruising to a 5-0 lead after the 30-year-old had clutched a 1v3 situation to win the pistol for his team. Virtus.pro then hit their first round on the board thanks to a quad-kill from byali that included a 1v2 clutch, which they followed up with another round on the back of a triple-kill from Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski.

However, Natus Vincere refused to let go off the gas and lost just one more round during the rest of the half to bag a convincing 12-3 lead. On the CT side, the Ukrainian team quickly wrapped things up to equalise the series at 1-1.

NEO opened up the action on the decider map, Train, with a clean quad-kill to pick up the CT pistol for his team. But after building up their economy, Natus Vincere ran all over the defence, with Zeus piling more misery on the Polish players with a 1v3 clutch in the 15th round.

Down 2-13, Virtus.pro still found a lifeline by winning the second pistol and the following anti-eco, but then Zeus clutched a 1v2 with a CZ, powering Natus Vincere to secure another convincing victory.

Yeah, ago would beat them head to head. You're saying ago sucks tho, I wouldn't think so, they impressed quite a bit in some high tier tournaments this year. They might become a main top 15 team and top 10 contender. You never know
2018-06-18 21:41
They've been beat by Gambit but VP shut down Gambit in that point we can say That AGO = VP and VP is improving a lot look at byali's raiting you can say : "They beat TyLoo 2 tmies fucktard it doesn't count" But TyLoo is higher than VP at Hltv ranking so it does count

Because they got a lot of work to do still before they throw the roaster away. And all the other polish players still have yet to show they are worth more then the people they play against. I mean once they start playing in pro leagues and qualify for majors then it’s a different conversation.

Polish CS was really great to watch just before Boston Major. Currently Danish CS is, with Astralis and North playing pretty good. AGO shows promise to inherit VP's role as the Polish Dream Team. I'd really love to see AGO in the Majors in the future.
