Gambit and Valiance have advanced to the winners' matches of their groups after securing convincing victories over x-kom (16-6 on Inferno) and Não Tem Como (16-7 on Nuke), respectively.

Group B's second opening match saw Gambit dominate x-kom on Inferno early on, taking a 10-0 lead as Terrorists without breaking a sweat.

A forcebuy with a couple of shotguns gave the Polish side their first round, which allowed Krzysztof "stark" Lewandrowski & co. to buy double AWPs and secure the last four, as well, with Patryk "Patitek" Fabrowski and Daniel "STOMP" Płomiński each getting key picks.

Gambit made short work of x-kom in their opening match

The Kazakh-Russian team immediately regained control in the second half on the back of Nikolay "mir" Bityukov's quad-kill in the pistol round, while Abay "Hobbit" Khasenov's triple gave Gambit the first gunround, putting his team two rounds away from the W.

It didn't take long for Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov's squad to finish off x-kom, who were only able to add one more round before Rustem "mou" Telepov and Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev shut them down with a triple-kill each, locking their spot in the winners' match at 16-6.

Valiance took on Não Tem Como in Group A on Nuke, with the Balkan side starting on the CT side and winning the pistol round to begin the match with a 2-0 lead.

The Brazilians grabbed two out of the following three, with Bruno "bit" Lima clutching a 1v2 along the way, but Valiance took over again by resetting their opponents and going on a six-round streak for 9-2. With a couple of faster approaches and key pick-offs, NTC clinched the last four rounds to finish the half with six in total.

Valiance replied with their second pistol round win and cruised to a 14-6 lead after Luka "emi" Vuković saved a 1v5 attempt from bit. Lincoln "fnx" Lau's two pickoffs gave NTC the following round, but it was too little too late, as Valiance reset their opponents immediately and sealed the match 16-7.
