The two aforementioned players will step into the shoes of Yousif "h1x" Abdelsattar and Khalid "KarriBob" Al-Junaibi. The lone Indian player, Love "havoK" Paras, will reunite with the core roster for the third time after going his separate ways previously under Risky in 2016 and NASR last year.
Fayez "cheK" Saif rounds up the completed lineup, who hails from Kuwait and is formerly known for his time competing under FATE and RvN. NASR's revamped roster made headlines earlier this week by securing a slot in the DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018 Asia closed qualifier as GCC's representative and shortly won a local LAN tournament today.
"When talks came up about forming this super team with cheK, breAker, Nami, k1tkat and myself... I won’t lie, I was honestly jumping out of happiness, I was so excited. I really thought something would happen and this lineup would not come together, like I felt it was too good to be true.
"But when It was actually happening and we all sat down to speak and discuss how it was going to come together including with the NASR management. I was like holy shit, this is actually going to happen. It was way too good for me to say no to this offer.
"I felt that Nami and k1tkat were already beasting everything and were easily the best in the region in their roles. Then we got breAker as an in-game leader who I feel really comfortable with and know his calls can single-handedly win us games, and finally, we got cheK...
"CheK, who I felt was the most talented well-rounded player on any role was given to him, the dude is a beast and also makes some amazing mid-round calls, which is something the initial NASR lineup was lacking too. It really felt like cheK would be the missing piece in the puzzle. Coming back to my point, this lineup, would easily be the best lineup I would ever be a part of. So, that’s when I decided ok, I’m going to take it up and give it my best shot. "
