eUnited beat NTC for Americas Minor playoff spot

eUnited have secured a playoff spot at the Americas Minor with a 2-0 (16-4 on Train and 16-13 on Inferno) sweep over Não Tem Como in the deciding match.

The Group A decider match started on Train, Não Tem Como's pick, where the North American side of eUnited got off to a smooth 3-0 start on the T-side securing the pistol and the following anti-ecos. Finally breaking the streak, Não Tem Como topped the first gun round to claim their first of the half, but eUnited fired back with two in a row to make it 5-1.

With a tattered economy, Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes and his men managed to add one more on the board, but a relentless eUnited offense ran off with the half, winning six out of eight rounds, before a triple-kill from Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe claimed Não Tem Como's fourth and last of the half, down 11-4.

In the second half, Não Tem Como could not find the edge to end eUnited's rein on the CT-side, with Michael "dapr" Gulino and Skyler "Relyks" Weaver putting in most of the work to win five straight, securing the 16-4 map victory and the series lead.

moose led eUnited with a 1.28 rating in the sweep

The series then landed on Inferno. eUnited got off to a flying 3-0 start on the T-side winning the pistol and the following anti-ecos, before a triple-kill from Lincoln "fnx" Lau earned Não Tem Como's first as CTs. The two sides then traded rounds back and forth, until Não Tem Como broke the North Americans' economy to win five in a row, but eUnited managed to squeeze out one more to settle the half by a single round deficit, 8-7.

The second half saw eUnited barely secure the CT pistol with dapr holding the defuse, which set up a great run for the North American side claiming five more to their lead (13-8). The Brazilians finally got on the board to earn their first and began chipping away at eUnited's lead with two more added (11-13).

A lopsided round granted eUnited their 14th of the half, but Não Tem Como weren't going down without a fight and tacked on two more to nearly tie the game at 14-13. With little economy, a huge flank from Will "dazzLe" Loafman on banana put eUnited at match point, where the North Americans then secured the final round of the half to take the 2-0 series victory.

2018-07-08 01:34
if they are t1 players why are they all negative with shit adr vs t4 NA team? cant blame shit teammates because s1mple always fragged out even when losing with shit teammates soooo
2018-07-08 03:09
This series, yes. But have you been watching their games? Since NTC's inception felps and kNg have been hard carrying this team, felps especially, he has played many series where he ended up with 100+ ADR. You also know their history. In 2017 felps won 5 t1 tournaments with SK + major semifinalist. kNg is a major finalist. You have to remember that their IGL, bit, came from Team One where he didn't achieve much. It could be very well that his calls are just bad.
2018-07-08 03:28
Only felps is worth saving from this team

disband all br teams ..stop play this game, and any game, because they are bad in anything. Maybe only in the dota there is a hope, but I doubt.
2018-07-08 23:50
May i ask how is br good at dota
2018-07-09 19:19
not so good at all, but looks like they are growing fast, participating in several T1 tournaments lately, getting some results, first time getting a spot for TI, etc..
