Chaos sign ex-Japaleno trio; Devilwalk joins as coach

Chaos have revamped their roster with the signing of Niclas "PlesseN" Plessen, Joakim "Relaxa" Gustafsson and Fredrik "FREDDyFROG" Gustafsson, the North American organisation have announced.

Chaos had been on the lookout for some fresh blood after parting ways with Aleksandar "jayzaR" Zarkovic, Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi and Mattias "benny" Rosback, leaving Markus "pronax" Wallsten and Mikail "Maikelele" Bill as the only remaining players in the line-up.

The duo have already linked up with PlesseN, Relaxa and FREDDyFROG in the ESEA MDL roster, which has been renamed from Japaleno to "Chaos Esports Club". The team currently sit second in the league, with an 8-2 record, just three points shy of table toppers ALTERNATE aTTaX.

Maikelele reunites with the Gustafsson twins

With this move, Maikelele reunites with Relaxa and FREDDyFROG after playing alongside the twin brothers for a brief period in Red Reserve, who would go on to finish in second place at the GeForce Cup and at DreamHack Open Valencia.

Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg has also signed for Chaos in a coaching capacity, less than a year after returning to activity in passions. The 27-year-old was part of the fnatic line-up that won the first Counter-Strike Major, DreamHack Winter 2013, led by pronax.

With these changes, Chaos now have:

Sweden Markus "pronax" Wallsten
Sweden Mikail "Maikelele" Bill
Sweden Niclas "PlesseN" Plessen
Sweden Joakim "Relaxa" Gustafsson
Sweden Fredrik "FREDDyFROG" Gustafsson

Freddyfrog is gud player. Maikelele also... he got some undeserved kicks then lost motivation. Maybe he ll start grinding again. Normally he's an all around skilled player. Plessen is also all right. Pronax is a bot but an experienced one. He played many finals and he can help the team with his wisdom. Dont just shit on the right away
2018-07-09 17:13

Doesn't matter at all. Swedish top scene is too fucking afraid to try out new players. They will rather keep on having GTR and other shitters instead of trying out new blood and that's how it's always bin and it's not looking like it's gonna change any time soon.

Or just skeptical fans that know pronax has had issues calling in this meta, maikelele is horribly inconsistent and the rest of the team is young and inexperienced. It's not always hate, dont be so cynical.

Or just fans knowing nothing about anything. Fans just guessing. Your comment about maikelele and pronax just shows how little you know about them. The rest of the team is young and talented. It's funny how guys like you try to be so negative about everything. For me that is just hating on people who are trying to do something the love.

So pronax hasnt struggled in recent rosters and maikele is a consistent AWPer? Are you really going to make those claims?
2018-07-11 06:32
hltv.org/matches/2322892/space-jam-vs-ch.. just one recent example of his inconsistentcy hes dominate one map and then completely absent another. Also I never said this roster couldn't succeed not sure where you're getting negativity from this is one of the best looking rosters Sweden has had in a while not made up of nip/fnc players however it's unlikely that they will be a major contender when the next one comes around. Theres just so much talent in the scene at the moment.
2018-07-11 06:43
