The CIS Minor begins on Tuesday with the group stage and we prepared a viewer's guide with all the information you need to know to watch the tournament.

The CIS Minor will run on July 10-13 with seven teams in attendance, as Nemiga had to drop out of the tournament after having been denied visas, and FACEIT were unable to find a replacement in time.

PLINK and Monolith will play the event with stand-ins due to visa issues, as Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar will replace Artur "DarkS1DE" Kravchenko in the former team, while Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis will fill in for Denis "Kas9k" Grishechkin in the latter.

Group A, where HellRaisers play, will kick off the CIS Minor

Group A will only feature three teams, with HellRaisers receiving a free pass to the winners' match. The groups will be played in a GSL format with the upper bracket matches featuring best-of-one matches and the lower bracket best-of-three series.

From there, the top two sides will earn berths in the best-of-three, double-elimination playoffs, which will award the finalists two spots in the New Challengers Stage, which will take place in September.

The tournament spans over four days, with Tuesday and Wednesday reserved for the group stage, while the playoffs will be played on Thursday-Friday:

2018-07-09 18:39
Oh come on is it not obvious that HR is the better team? If it was another team from group B that was in A instead of HR and got promoted to the winners match I'd agree. But HR is a hell of a lot better than those plink guys or pro100

They supposed to play Nemiga or their replacement in the first match. But since Faceit failed their job in helping teams to get visas HR was promoted to the winners' match.
