pro100 beat PLINK; move on to playoffs
PLINK and pro100 kicked their BO3 off on Nuke, where pro100 took the first pistol round on the CT side as Dima "def" Lemeshchuk got four headshots with the USP. The Ukrainian side then went on to win the first gun round and anti-eco, taking a 5-0 lead. From there on out, pro100 took the reins of the match, only allowing PLINK to win a round here or there.
Having taken a 12-3 lead in the first half of the match, when the map resumed pro100 kept the momentum, and despite losing the third round, were able to bring it back and take the map, taking revenge on PLINK who won Nuke in the Group A opener by the same scoreline that pro100 won this time around, 16-4.
pro100 kicked Inferno off on the right foot, winning the pistol round, but a successful retake on B by PLINK tied the score up and gave the Russian side the economic advantage. The match evened out at 4-4, but then PLINK were able to take advantage of the CT side, taking a 6-4 lead and prompting pro100 to call a tactical pause. Finally, it was PLINK who stayed in command to take a 10-5 lead.
pro100 didn't give up, however, and after winning the pistol round and the anti-eco, started to mount a comeback despite losing a round here or there, all the way to 11-12. Then a clean A play by PLINK with entries by Roman "rommi" Golubev and Danila "redhide" Demidov kept PLINK in the lead, 13-11. After having planted on B the following round, Rassim "Jyo" Valijev got three frags in an afterplant to keep the lead and force pro100 on an eco. With the momentum on their side, PLINK were then able to close the map out, 16-11, to take it to the decider.
Mirage started with teams trading rounds once again, as PLINK let pro100 win an A plant defended by Leonard "kenzor" Volodarchuk and Vadim "Flarich" Karetin on the forcebuy after having won the pistol round. The Ukrainian side then hit the ground running, taking a 6-2 lead after resetting PLINK with a big round by Ivan "AiyvaN" Semenets who got a triple with the AWP.
After switching, with 9-6 in favor of pro100, the Ukrainian side won the second pistol round, but PLINK won the anti-eco to stay in contention. Thanks to that, PLINK was able to bring it all the way back to a tie, 13-13. The score was then again tied at 14-14, with pro100 taking match point. Aleksey "1uke" Zimin opened the 30th round, but Flarich got one of his own to make it 4vs4 as PLINK planted. A double by rommi in the afterplant then cleared the way for his team to take it to overtime.
