Heroic beat AGO, Fragsters destroy Virtus.pro at DH Open
Group A's second opening match took place on Overpass, with Heroic getting off to a 3-0 start after a long push in the pistol round. AGO replied with three of their own after defending B twice, with Mateusz "TOAO" Zawistowski clutching a 1v1 and Dominik "GruBy" Swiderski securing a quad-kill.
The two sides traded blows until it was 5-4 in favor of the Nordic squad, who went on to close out the half by winning five out of the last six rounds.
The first four rounds of the second half went back and forth as the two sides traded forcebuys, with Heroic stopping the rot with two straight shutdowns on B, courtesy of Adam "friberg" Friberg in monster.
That allowed Andreas "MODDII" Fridh & co. to reach match point at 15-7, and although AGO triumphed with the following forcebuy, Heroic closed out the match comfortably at 16-9 with just a saved AWP.

The match between Fragsters and Virtus.pro — who are playing the $100,000 tournament with Piotr "morelz" Taterka — was a whitewash from the Danish side. They started off Train with Ismail "refrezh" Ali grabbing a triple in ladder and never let go of control, cruising to a 14-1 halftime score as Counter-Terrorists as everyone pitched in with key plays.
With Jacob "dragonfly" Lund and Nicolai "torben" Amorim picking up doubles in the second pistol round, Virtus.pro didn't even get a chance to delay the match any further, as Fragsters completed the decimation at 16-1.
