BOOT-d[S] will replace Signature at the Asia Minor, after cruising past Devious in the SEA last chance qualifier, 2-0.

The Singaporean side had to field Leslie "Bobosaur" Soen as a stand-in for Kazakhstani member Alikhan "w1nt3r" Kopzhanov. This is due to the latter not having enough time to apply for a British visa, while the former is a Singaporean citizen that can enter the United Kingdom without one.

The best-of-three series kicked off on Devious ' map pick, Nuke, which did not start well for them, as Benedict "Benkai" Tan's crew held their ground on the CT-side with a 12-3 half. Danial "RedKoh" Hakim's men secured the second pistol round, but BOOT-d[S] eventually closed the map, 16-7.

ImpressioN and co. departs for the Asia Minor in London tonight

On Dust2, Devious failed to deliver on the defensive side with only one round on the board against their fellow countrymen in the first half. Anthony "ImpressioN" Lim's squad continued with the momentum on their map pick, locking down the 16-1 victory and the 2-0 series.

China kids still salty over tyloo losing to singapore LOLLLL,when their cs are shady af not to mention their country itself LOLLLL
2018-07-15 10:51
So they'll basically fly to London and play almost immediately? I don't see it ending well for them.
2018-07-15 07:34
Yeah their first match is in 26 hours and 30 min, it will probably take 13 hours? to fly to London then they need sleep for about 7-9 hours and then play their match in a couple hours with media day included.
2018-07-15 07:42
Flight would probably be longer than that but would depend on things like stop over as I am unsure on if you can get a direct flight from Singapore especially with such short notice.
2018-07-15 07:47
just book ASAP flight. It very expensive but FACEIT pay it easy
2018-07-15 08:01
Yeah I assumed Faceit would be paying the flights, still they would have to be like $2000 per ticket for so last minute.

Easy for TyLoo and VG.Flash even playing with their coach they are gonna qualify for the challenger stage without dropping a single map. JK easiest tournament for the boys ofc and also for TyLoo no AttackeR no party, the Chinese coldzera
2018-07-15 09:12
Im very sad for VG, they lost thier chance to get stickers with VG logo cuz AttackEr was injured :(((

...didnt they specifically do all minors in the uk with enough given time so visa issues couldnt come up? why is there a last chance qualifier anyway days before the event
2018-07-15 11:02
yes, they're doing the minors in uk to guarantee that everyone qualifying for the major already has a visa. faceit can't control if visa issues come up or not, but this way all the teams with visa issues are filtered out at the minors. they did give all teams enough time, but signature's visas were straight up rejected by the uk embassy, including appeal. that's why a last chance qualifier was held to replace them.
