Red Reserve have eliminated Kinguin at the Europe Minor after beating the Polish team 2-0 (16-12 on Cache and 19-17 on Dust2).

Red Reserve faced Kinguin in the Group B elimination match which started on Cache. The T-sided Swedes won the first three rounds despite giving up the first kill in each of them. The Poles hit back with five rounds in a row and took the lead (5-3).

Red Reserve reclaimed the lead with Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun's 1vs4 clutch and won four more rounds to lead 10-5 at halftime. A triple kill by Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas in the second half pistol round gave Kinguin their sixth and the Polish side trailed 10-8 following two anti-eco wins.

Red Reserve will play NiP for a Minor playoff spot

Even though Kinguin started well on the T-side and tied the game at 12-12, they couldn't go ahead as Red Reserve won two post-plants to make it 14-12. Hampus "hampus" Poser & company wrapped up the map with a 16-12 scoreline.

TaZ's team started Dust2 on the T-side and secured the pistol round. The Polish squad had a scare in the second round as they found themselves in a 2vs4 situation but they prevailed. Paweł "reatz" Jańczak clutched a 1vs2 in the seventh round to make it 5-2.

Kinguin are out of the Minor

When Kinguin made it 10-2, Red Reserve switched over to a triple AWP setup to break the streak and the Swedes trailed 10-5 at halftime after winning the last three rounds in the half. reatz got a triple kill to win the second half pistol round and Kinguin made it 13-5 with two anti-ecos.

Red Reserve denied nine map points, coming back from 15-6 to take the match to overtime with a quad kill by disco doplan in a 2vs5 in the 30th round. Red Reserve closed out the map 19-17 in overtime and won the series 2-0 to stay alive at the Europe Minor.
