mynio replaces tecek in x-kom
The Polish team's recent results include a win at the ~$27,500 Good Game League 2018 LAN, and a last-place finish at ZOTAC Cup Masters Europe Regional Finals, which happened just a week after their successful run in Poland.
After the two events in June, x-kom were seen playing with mynio standing in for tecek, which makes today's signing of the former tomorrow player an unsuprising one. mynio recently won the Polish Esport League S3 Finals over AGO alongside Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamałek and co., finishing the event as the team's second-highest rated player with 1.16.
x-kom announced that tecek is still a member of the team, placed on the bench alongside Michał "SOON" Wójcicki, and revealed that mynio will "bring something fresh to our team while fitting into the support role":
"I'm thrilled that we were able to sign such a great player as Wiktor to our team. In my opinion, he’s a talented player who will bring something fresh to our team while fitting into the support role.
"We’re happy with our recent results, however, we have to keep in mind that we need to constantly move forward as a team – the goal is to compete in big European competitions and play even matches with the top teams from HLTV’s ranking. To cut any speculation, Karol "tecek" Kapczynski will be moved to the bench and is still a member of our team. I wish both players the utmost success.”
