The ESL Pro European Championship which will have online and offline stages has been announced.

The online stage will kick off on August 28 with a two-day online qualifier featuring 12 teams. The ESL National champions from nine different countries will be joined by three runners-up from the strongest national competitions.

The qualifier will start with two round-robin groups featuring six teams. The top three teams from both groups will advance to the final group which will give away three spots at the LAN finals taking place in Poznan, Poland on October 13-14.

AGO recieved an invite for the LAN finals

Those three teams will be joined by AGO who have already been invited to the LAN tournament where €70,000 (~$80,000), as well as two spots at the ESEA MDL Relegation will be on the line.

The ESL Pro European Championship Qualifier teams, who will compete for three LAN spots, can be found below:

Ur high eu needs them more than ever. Crazy coming from a German . Your country is the only thing saving the eu right now basically. The Euro would completely crumble if Germany defaulted or exited. They where the only other country pulling the EU's deadweight. Only one helping pay the debit for failing EU countries.
2018-08-16 22:12
Nah you forgot france they are the seccond country behind germany But imo eu is not a good thing cuz as you said some countrys put more afford in this and others do less
2018-08-17 06:59
Well, formation of EU was the only way USA and USSR could be countered...
2018-08-17 10:47
people tend to forget that fact nowdays.
2018-08-18 06:05
True But eu does not work like it should do cuz there are too many countrys with different opinions in it Make (Sweden,Norway,Finnland, denmark, Island, germany, netherlands Belgium, Luxemburg Austria France, Spain,Portugal,Italy. Western Europe more or less

kinda sad still but would be a good league for a team like heroic fragsters as big ones to have a connection to the danish community and so on but also for little teams... like here we have teams like Bluejays, Berzerk and so on can prove themselves against the best in the country and gain great experience with this

EMP also have LOL finals which most often take place on the same stage, keep in mind Probably they'll have place reserved in 2 halls or something. Cybersport Polish Cup last year was pretty big itself though, so I wonder how they'll manage it.

"This was how, Champions League format begun on Counter-Strike". hope i can tell this story in the future, because in my opinion, e-Sports getting the traditional sports format in, it's the big step to the kaboom of e-Sports to a all well structure sport, like football of nowdays. Clubs, Federations, Leagues, Cups, Worlds, Seasons, Awards, Fans, Associate, Transfers, Home and Away in a "stadium" (gaming house, lan house...) and all stuff that move to a completely new level, gaming, like football did it.
2018-08-16 20:49
Europe has so many of these cool leagues and NA has none of them. I wish NA would have some, even if they had much smaller prize pools. NA needs more LAN events. I think it would help a bit with the disparity between EU teams and NA teams
