FACEIT Major on-air team announced
For the most part, filled with well-known casting and analysis figures, the FACEIT Major talent lineup also features some surprises in the form of current and former professional players.
The FACEIT Major, which starts with the New Challenger Stage on September 5th, is right behind the corner. Today, FACEIT announced the team which will be tasked with broadcasting the action from London over the course of three weeks.
Alex "Machine" Richardson is the first name on the list, with the talented Brit slotting in as the host. The interviews will be done by Pala Gilroy Sen and Freya Spiers, with the latter being seen in the role at ECS S5 and at the Minors.
The casting will be done by three established casting duos, while the list of analysts is a bit more interesting. Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill, Jacob "Pimp" Winneche and Sean "seang@res" Gares, who are regular figures on analyst desks, will be joined by Björn "THREAT" Pers and Damian "daps" Steele.
THREAT has worked on FACEIT's broadcasts prior to his NiP coaching berth, but hasn't been active in CS since departing the Swedish team, while this will be the first big analyst gig for daps, whose team NRG didn't make it through the NA Minor.
