Dignitas drop male CS:GO team
Dignitas have parted ways with their men's CS:GO roster, the North American organisation have announced.
The announcement ends a six-month association with the former SoaR line-up and comes with little surprise after the team was relegated from the ESL Pro League, with a 2-20 record.
During their time under Dignitas, the team attended just one LAN event, the Americas Minor, placing 5th-6th following defeats to Rogue and Complexity.
Last month, the team had been depleted to a three-man active roster after benching Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki and Michael "Grim" Wince, with Tyson "TenZ" Ngo and Anthony "gMd" Guimond among the players who were considered to fill the vacant spots.
According to Dust2.us, gMd is expected to join the team on a permanent basis, with coach Josh "shinobi" Abastado set to transition to an active role on the roster.
On Twitter, Dignitas stated that they will keep "an active eye on the CS:GO community", with the organisation set to "adopt a new strategy going forward."
The ex-Dignitas roster competing in ESEA MDL Season 29 will reportedly look as follows:
Mitch "mitch" Semago
Gage "Infinite" Green
Peter "ptr" Gurney
Anthony "gMd" Guimond
Josh "shinobi" Abastado
